So if you post a tip on Tennis, then you must put this in the Tennis thread on PuntersLounge.com Forum also, if you post a tip on UK Football, then you must put this in the UK Football forum on PuntersLounge.com Forum also etc..., to qualify for the DOUBLE PRIZE MONEY, otherwise you will only receive the single amount.
1. The single most important rule is that quality reasons must be put behind your bets. This does not mean we want you to write a book, but we do not want "Milan will win because they are good at home" or anything similar. These posts and tipsters will be instantly deleted.
If you make your selections using a genuine system, then so long as you post full details of how the system works in the Systems and Strategy forum on PuntersLounge.com, then you do not need to post full details with each individual bet, but you must post a link to your system on PuntersLounge.com forum with each tip. If your system has a lot of bets daily, then it is the admin of the site that will decide if it is allowed or not.
2. Bets must be placed at least 1 hour before the start of the event (this includes on PuntersLounge.com too) , ideally we want even longer, but any less and they will not count towards the tipster table.
3. The rules of staking on this site have been changed as of April 1st 2006 and are now as follows.
Odds of 1.10 - 5.00 - allow stakes up to 10pts.
Over 5.00 - 10.00 - allow stakes upto 5pts or 5pts each way for horse racing & outright bets.
Over 10.00 - 20.00 - allow stakes upto 3pts or 3pts each way for horse racing & outright bets.
Over 20.00 and above - limit stakes to 2pt or 2pts each way for horse racing & outright bets.
For those do no not understand what "each way" means, this is to do with long term bets on sports and also horse racing mainly. On sports, it usually means to have half your stake on to win, and half to be placed in the final, but the half to get to the final, is at shorter odds.
4. The maximum "LAY" price on exchanges that will be allowed is 4.00. To place a "LAY" selection on a betting exchange, there must be £200 or €300 available to lay in total on the betting exchange you advise. If there is less than £200 or €300 and you still submit it, this will result in a yellow card warning. If it happens twice, you will be deleted from the system whether you are top or bottom as it is simply cheating. This is down to admin discretion.
Example: If you lay Team X and Team X is available to lay at 2.40 for £50, 2.60 for £80 and 2.75 for £525. Then the price you lay at is 2.75, as it goes over the £200 barrier at that price.
5. To place a "BACK" selection on a betting exchange, there must be £200 or €300 available to back in total on the betting exchange you advise. If there is less than £200 or €300 and you still submit it, this will result in a yellow card warning. If it happens twice, you will be deleted from the system whether you are top or bottom as it is simply cheating.
Example: If you back Team X and Team X is available to back at 2.75 for £50, 2.60 for £80 and 2.40 for £525. Then the price you back at is 2.40, as it goes over the £200 barrier at that price.
6. Each Way horse racing bets will be settled as follows:
4 runners or less: Win only - if there
were more than 4 runners when you placed the bet, but it was cut down
to 4, then the place half is settled as a win bet.
5-7 runners: 2 places, 1/4 the odds.
8-11 runner handicaps and all 8+ runner non-handicaps: 3 places, 1/5 the odds.
12-15 runner handicaps: 3 places, 1/4 the odds.
16+ runner handicaps: 4 places, 1/4 the odds.
Rule 4 deductions must be advised to admin, failure to do so may result in you being deleted from the site.
7a. You can bet singles only, we will not accept any doubles or trebles on any sport. If anyone places these bets, they will be deleted.
7b. You are only allowed one bet on the same match, Asian Handicaps/Win Bets and Over/Unders on the same match will be disallowed, this rule is for football/soccer matches only. If two bets are posted, then the first bet will be valid only.
All other sports are required to have one bet on any individual match or game, not including horse racing or motor sports.
7c. Correct score bets are not allowed on any sport, this includes set betting on Tennis. Goal Margin bets such as Milan to win by 1 goal etc... are now disallowed.
8a. Half Time bets, HT/FT bets, anytime goalscorers, correct score and first goalscorer bets are not allowed.
8b. Ice Hockey Bets that do not state (Inc OT) at the end of the bet subject, will be regarded as regulation bets, therefore including the draw.
9. There is no minimum bets rule for tipsters. We feel this will encourage specialists that do not operate all year round.
10. If you make a mistake, please inform us immediately, but if the event has already started then it will stand.
11. Tipsters that use other people's tips from any other site will be subject to a yellow card and then deleted. This applies to blatant copying from forums too.
12. If any tipster reaches -200, they will be kept on the site, but possibly unable to post any more tips for the whole year. This is down to admin discretion.
13. All cash prizes will be paid via www.moneybookers.com and www.paypal.com so please make sure you have an account with them.
Administrators of Sports-Punter.com reserve the right to bring in or adjust any rules in the future at the start of any month, but never whilst the month is in progress. They will look at any disputes, and their decision will be final.
